The year has passed so quickly. So many memories, so many blessings, so many problems all rolled into one year. And so much more to cram into these last few weeks. I love this time of year. I know it can be a difficult time with the loss of loved ones, but I know that they would not want us left here in saddness, but rather spreading joy and happiness to others just like they did with their time here on earth. My mother passed the week before Thanksgiving. She loved the holiday season. Cooking was a passion of hers and she not only did it well but loved doing it for others. I recently put together a cookbook of family recipes and so many were holiday dishes that she made.So yummy! And so much a part of the memories. This year I have so many plans to make some wonderful Christmas memories for our family. Today we were blessed with the opportunity to celebtate our veterans at Osage Beach where our grandchildren attend school. My husband got to share one of my first books, “The Shiny New Red Accordion”, a story about his time in Vietnam. There were huge smiles and big tears as veterans were honored and beautiful songs of our great soldiers and country were sang by the students. Beautiful program! Thank you students and staff of Osage Beach. Before all of my big holiday plans happens, I have a book to launch. There will be a Facebook Live party to celebrate the launch. “Sally the Cow” is being published and can be preordered right now. If you have not preordered you can go to Amazon to preorder.
